Recently completed at Chester Zoo- A life size bronze sculpture of Chester Zoo’s much loved Chimp, Boris, by Gill Parker.

I am delighted that once again Collier and Dobson will be showing my work at Olympia. Occupying their usual large site on the upper level, I wish them a very good show.

I am very proud to have been commissioned to portray one of Chester Zoo’s most famous characters, ‘Boris’. Boris, Chester’s oldest Chimpanzee, is celebrating his 50th birthday in 2016 and the life size bronze sculpture depicts him in his favourite ‘people watching’ position. The life size sculpture is positioned next to the Chimp enclosure. It is always an honour to be asked to portray amazing animals and be associated with organisations, such as Chester zoo, doing such great work in the field of conservation.
